If you are just looking for already made wheels we have an assortment in our online store. Revolutionary War Cannons These field cannons were built for the entrance to a gated community.The field cannon was the primary battlefield artillery piece. It fired its shot on a relatively flat trajectory to 'bounce' the ball across the battlefield and plow through enemy troop formations. Their design is double trial revolutionary war cannons. (The trail is the large piece of wood which supports the tube.)
Civil War Cannon This is a 3/4 scale civil war era field cannon with a limber attached to the back, it was built for a local collector. A limber is a two-wheeled vehicle to which the gun trail is attached for transport. For more information on the parts of a cannon check out this site.
War of 1812 Cannon This a replica cannon of the War of 1812. It is a Howitzer with a custom carriage and is hitched to a period correct limber. The howitzer was designed to have a much higher trajectory, for the purpose of lobbing shot over obstacles. The cannon was commissioned by Ft. Meigs of Ohio. Ft. Meigs has a reconstructed fort and museum. for more info we have included their website.
War of 1812 Cannons A recent project for Ft. Meigs was this pair of Garrison cannons. The barrel of the garrison cannon was very similar to the field cannon, although the carriage had smaller wheels, as it was usually employed in forts and on ships where the cannon rested on fort walls or ships decks. This cannon was also designed to fire with a relatively flat trajectory.
Revolutionary War Cannon This is a custom built Revolutionary War field cannon. It was built for a competition shooter. We even got to test it out, here at the shop!
Revolutionary War Cannon Here is a 3/4 scale Revolutionary War field cannon built for Hong Kong, Disneyland.
Civil War Cannon Another cannon built for Disneyland but this one resides in Tokyo, Japan's amusement park. This is a 3/4 scale Parrott field cannon from the Civil War Era. The Parrott rifle was invented by Captain Robert Parker Parrott in 1861.
Navel Cannon The cannon in front is a garrison cannon used to protect navel ships. Specs were provided by the customer for this cannon. (The cannon in the back of the picture belongs to the set of two cannons at the top of the page.)
