Upcoming Event

A Bit of the West that WasExciting news from the National Stagecoach & Freight Wagon Association! Plan to join us for an entertaining, educational, and enjoyable event at the first ever Western Vehicle Symposium at the Parks-Janeway Carriage Museum on April 2-5, 2009 where you will experience "A Bit of the West that Was".
 
The Symposium will be the first of its kind about Stagecoaches and Horse Drawn Vehicles presented by the Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society in California.This gathering will feature demonstrations and important presentations by members of the CARRIAGE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, who are leading conservators, historians, curators, carriage builders and restoration experts in the unique world of coaches, carriages and wagons.For more information and registration form visit the Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum website

In conjunction with the Western Vehicle Symposium, the National Stagecoach & Freight Wagon AssociationNational Stagecoach & Freight Wagon Association will hold their 2nd annual meeting. 2009 marks our first full year in operation.  As we get started, we're equally eager to help strengthen the network of those interested in the early transportation industry, western history, vintage horse drawn vehicles, trails and so much more. We've recently completed our initial website presence, but expect to be adding more in the coming months.  In the meantime, please visit our site at www.stagecoachfreightwagon.org.
