Our straight heel shafts are steam-bent from solid hickory for strength.
Heavy-duty shafts are ideal for Draft Carts. Due to the length of shafts, there is an overlength charge for shipping so if you order these as is they do have to ship truck freight. The shafts come 138" in length, but can be cut down to the length required for your application to reduce shipping charges.
If you are replacing existing shafts, please provide the length required. The cross bar does not have any mounting notches pre-cut as that process is done during installation. CALL OR EMAIL FOR ESTIMATES AND TO PLACE YOUR ORDER.
Shortly after the curved part in the wood, it changes from a cylindrical shape to a more rectangular shape. Please keep that in mind when planning for the length of your shafts so you have enough for your cart. (See the last image for reference on this)
