Certain projects require historically accurate replication of the original wheels versus replacement using our standard Sarven or Roller-bearing buggy wheels. In this case, we can either rebuild on any existing solid wheel components, or completely replicate using the original components as a pattern. The project shown above required restoration of the staggered-spoke wood hub carriage wheels in order to maintain the correct, original styling. Those wheels with unique hub styles can be rebuilt using the original hardware and hub flanges, patterning your original wood cores and wheel sizes. We also offer basic wheel maintenance of hub band and tire setting and replacement of rubber tiring.
