We work on a wide variety of wood-spoke wheels that we would categorize as “Specialty Wheels”. From fire hose cart wheels (shown above), to Red River cart wheels, to oversized logging wheels – we both restore and replicate using original specifications to ensure historic authenticity. We’ll work closely with you to adjust the level of restoration to your special needs. The fire hose cart wheels pictured above were part of a complete, historic restoration project, requiring an intricately replicated paint finish. However, we can also simply replace a few necessary wheel components, such as spokes and felloes, on the original wheel structure and ship the repaired wheel back to the client for completion of the finish and restoration process.
