Our kit replicates the original design. Scale 1" = 12" (1:12).

Historically accurate and perfectly scaled. Kit has steerable wooden wheels, working suspension and opening doors. Cast metal wheel hubs, axles and door hinges; brass strips, rods, nails, nuts and bolts and photo-etched brass parts add authentic detail.

Driver’s bench is perched at the top of the wagon and interior is complete with seating for nine. Decal sets for both Wells Fargo and Butterfield let you choose the version you’ll build. Laser cut basswood parts, well-drawn plans and clear instructions make assembly easy.

    Western mail Coach

Posted by Stan on Mar 1st 2022

The coach was done as part of the Loudon, New Hampshire Historical Society travel trunk project on transportation. Some Historical Society members will be taking the trunk to Schools and Civic Organizations and giving a talk on transportation from early travel up to the present time. The Concord Coach that was purchased from Hansen Wheel and Wagon Shop in December met all my expectations and more. The best part is the Coach was made in the USA by Model Trailways. Thank You for all your help. Loudon, New Hampshire is located eight miles northeast of Concord, New Hampshire where the Concord Coaches were built.
