Our straight heel shafts are steam-bent from solid hickory for strength and durability. These heavy-duty shafts are ideal for Draft and Meadowbrook-style carts.

Standard Length: 138" or 10'
Customizable: Shafts can be cut to your required length to reduce shipping charges. If you can provide the desired length, please include it with your order.

Shorter shafts are also available for pony carts in 57" and 8' lengths.

If you’re replacing existing shafts, please provide the exact length required.
The crossbar does not have pre-cut mounting notches—this is done during installation.
Shortly after the curved section, the shaft changes from a cylindrical to a rectangular shape. Be sure to account for this when planning your length so you have enough for your cart. (See last image for reference.)

Truck Freight Shipping: These shafts are shipped via truck freight if not cut down. Please add the shafts to your cart and complete the checkout process to submit your quote. You won’t be charged initially for the shafts or shipping; this step allows us to calculate and provide you with a shipping quote. After you receive the quote for the shafts and shipping, you can decide if you would like to proceed with the order and pay at that time.

If the shafts can be cut down to a length that qualifies for UPS shipping instead of truck freight, we will let you know.
