Our Pony-sized straight heel shafts are steam-bent from solid hickory for strength.
These shafts work great for pony carts - 57" and 8'
The cross bar does not have any mounting notches pre-cut, as that process is done during installation.
Shortly after the curved part in the wood, it changes from a cylindrical shape to a more rectangular shape. Please keep that in mind when planning for the length of your shafts so you have enough for your cart.
