Wagon Restorations & Replicas

RESTORATION PROCESS

Wagon Restoration at Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop

We work closely with our clients from start to finish, to help determine the scope of their project. Our priority is to restore or replicate each historic vehicle while prioritizing authenticity and historic relevance.

How to Get Started

With over 40 years of experience restoring and replicating horse-drawn vehicles, we've established a tried and true way of working through the restoration process. A thorough review of photos, sent to us by the client, allows us to do a preliminary evaluation of the wagon or coach. A follow up call, gives us an opportunity to discuss the "vision"--covering all aspects of the project from historic or sentimental significance to budget and more. From there, we evaluate the options and present you with recommendations. We have plenty of experience with the logistics of transforming your vision to fruition. Leah, our project manager, will keep you up to date with project updates, including photos of the progress. View Restoration Portfolios below.
